Shannon Matthews Mum Questioned

Shannon Matthews Mum Karen is been questioned by police. Karen apparently admitted to police that she knew where her daughter was from day one. She allegedly blurted out "I knew where she was all the time"

Police have been given extra time to question Karen they can hold her until mid morning tomorrow. Karen is been questioned for perverting the course of justice.

A source claimed: “She started shaking uncontrollably and crying. Her friend asked her what part was true. It’s alleged she said she had known where Shannon was right from Day One. It seems everything got out of control and she didn’t know how to stop it.”

Someone from the Matthews family tried to get money donated for the Maddie McCann fund. A source close to Kate & Gerry said: “Kate and Gerry were getting ready to go to church. He opened the door to find this man who basically demanded cash. Gerry was stunned. It was as if he thought he was just going to pull out a cheque book. When he explained that the fund is governed by trustees who approve all expenditure, the man got annoyed and said, ‘But I’ve driven all the way from Dewsbury."

The search for Shannon has cost taxpayers over £5 million.

Police believe the couple got this idea from the Shameless episode aired a few weeks before this happened where they pretend their son has gone missing and use the donation money for them selfs.
