CelebTV.com are reporting that Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz are expecting a baby boy. The pair filled out a registry for their baby at Petit Tresor and "almost everything is blue."

A salesperson said "They (Ashlee & Pete) made it very clear that it was a boy."

In the wake of Us Weekly’s cover story that Jessica Simpson's controlling father was the main source behind her May split from Tony Romo, Joe Simpson tells “Extra” he’s not the controlling father he’s made out to be.

“The media says that I try to plan everything - If I had half of the power they give me…They [Ashlee and Jessica] don’t call me and ask me. They call me and tell me.”

He adds that Jessica “... is as happy as I’ve seen her in years.” and gushes about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, “He’s a great guy. I love Tony to death….He’s just a good kid….”

Us reports in the current issue that Joe asked Romo, 28, to let him help represent him. As tension grew, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback gave Jessica an ultimatum: Tell dad to back off!

Joe tells “Extra” that the public has many misconceptions about him as his daughters’ manager. “For all those people thinking I’m sipping Piña Coladas on the beach and enjoying millions of dollars and having this great life – Bull..I work seven days a week, 24/7."

Simpson, who officiated daughter Ashlee’s wedding to Pete Wentz, says, “I love Pete to death…He has a patient spirit and a kind heart…I’m honored to have Pete as my son-in-law.”

Although Simpson tells “Extra” that the sex of Ashlee’s baby, which will be his first grandchild is unknown, “I would love to have a boy, but I know how to raise girls so I’m good with that.”

Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz have finally confirmed that they are expecting their first child. The pair wrote on Petes website "Friends or Enemies" the following:

This just in from our favorite newlyweds:
"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child. This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."

Ashlee Simpson changes her name to Ashlee Wentz

Newly married Ashlee Simpson is changing her name to Ashlee Wentz in honor of her husband, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.
"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're marrying a man," she tells PEOPLE. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."

The singer, whose May 17 wedding featured an Alice in Wonderland-themed reception, says that privately she'll go by Ashlee Wentz and professionally she'll be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Pete Wentz says he left the name change decision to his wife. "These decisions with Ashlee and her name are all completely up to Ashlee," Wentz says. "I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them."

Still, he admits, he was flattered. "Oh man, I was like upgrade me! You know what I'm saying? The Wentz family, our Christmas card just got upgraded!" he says. "It feels insane. It feels unreal."

People Magazine forked out a shocking $1.4 Million for the pictures of Ashlee & Petes shotgun wedding. TMZ have found out that People would only agree to pay that much as long as Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo attended the bash.

People put a picture of Tony & Jessica on the cover as well because they sell magazine - Ashlee & Pete don't.

Jessica & Tony are rumoured to have split before the wedding but Tony still attended. When People Magazine where asked for a comment they didn't return any calls.

I thought it was a stupid amount to pay for Ashlee & Petes shotgun wedding. Now we all know why because of Tony & Jessica.

Pete talks about his wedding

Pete Wentz is speaking out for the first time since his weekend wedding to Ashlee Simpson.

"We have signed a pre-nup," the newlywed rocker admitted on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday. (Ashlee was alseep, he said.)

He said "she legally is a Wentz ... I don't know what she'll do with her stage name, that's up to her. She hasn't decided that."

He said they're skipping out on a honeymoon (for now) and have been hanging out in their basement in L.A.

"We got some blow-up palm trees," Wentz said. "A little fake-n-bake tanning booth.

"We're eating DiGiorno's pizza, getting in that tanning oven every once in a while, it's great.

"It's gonna look like we're on that private jet," he added. "We're gonna save that 30 grand, you know?"

So how is married life?

"I feel great!" he said. "It is sunny and 65 in my head."

Wentz still refused to confirm Simpson's pregnancy.

When Seacrest asked why they decided to wed now, Wentz replied, "I get the backdoor question you're asking me, but it's been something we've been planning for a long time. I gave her a promise ring four months ago."

Seacrest later asked if he's thought about baby names.

Wentz laughed.

"Ryan, this baby has not been confirmed," he said. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees."

He was also mum on rumors that Jessica Simpson split with Tony Romo.

"I don't know anything about what's going on with them," he said. "I'm so busy clearing up my own rumors!"

At the Alice In Wonderland-themed wedding — their dog served as the ring bearer — he said Jessica and Tony "seemed like they were dancing. It seemed like it was a good time."

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were married Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony, their spokesperson tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said the spokesperson.

Simpson, 23, wore an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane as she and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents' Los Angeles area home.

Dad Joe Simpson performed the non-denominational ceremony, while sister Jessica served as maid of honor. Wentz's English bulldog, Hemingway, was the ring-bearer. Guests included Jessica's boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, as well as actor Donald Faison with girlfriend CaCee Cobb.

Simpson told PEOPLE on Friday that she was never the type to dream about her wedding when she was growing up, but changed her tune once she got engaged. "Now that I'm doing it, I definitely have that big dream. It kind of went more fairytale than I thought. I got really into it." Added Wentz, "She has this amazing imagination and to watch it take place is an awesome thing."

With the help of wedding planner Mindy Weiss, Simpson got her dream nuptials: The Alice in Wonderland themed reception featured a wedding cake by Sam Godfrey of Perfect Endings with a top hat, tea pot, stop watch and a pot of flowers on top. The elaborate centerpieces of black beauty roses were by Mark's Garden. Guests were served Rose Veuve Clicquot champagne followed by a sit-down dinner and dancing to a deejay.

Simpson, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, and Wentz, the bassist for Fall Out Boy, have been linked since the fall of 2006, when they were spotted kissing at a New York nightclub. They announced their engagement last month.

"He's a cutie," Simpson told PEOPLE last year. "He has an awesome personality and kind of brings out the best of me and I knew that even before we were dating. There was just like an awesome connection we had."

After they'd been dating almost a year, Wentz told PEOPLE, "We're past the honeymoon period. The truth is, it's crazy to be able to kiss your best friend. It's just a really awesome thing."

This is the first marriage for both.

Ashlee Simpson had her bacherlorette party last night at her parents house. Jessica attended along with Ashlees closest friends.

Pete celebrated at Mr.Chows, Joe Simpson attended along with all of Petes friends & family.

Ashlee & Pete have asked guests to "dress in dark colours" at their wedding on Saturday.

A friend told US Magazine "Guests have been asked to wear cocktail attire, but to not be overdressed"

A white tent with red curtains has been put up in Ashlees parents garden. The pool has been covered and is going to be used as a seating area. Ashlee is four months pregnant and around 250 guests are going to be attending the Wedding on Saturday.

The rehearsal dinner is taking place tonight with only close family and friends attending. I wonder if they'd be getting married if Ashlee (Shotgun Bride) wasn't knocked up ?
