Britneys the best selling female artist in the US
Avril axes the rest of her tour
Avril Lavigne has been forced to cancel the last six shows of her tour because of acute laryngitis. Avril had already cancelled two shows earlier this week.
Avril said: “My sincerest apologies to all of my fans. My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn’t possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out.”
The cancelled shows are:
May 4: Universal City, CA Gibson Amph. At Univ. CityWalk
May 6:Santa Barbara, CA Santa Barbara Bowl
May 8: San Jose, CA HP Pavilion At San Jose
May 9: Spokane, WA Spokane Arena
May 10: Everett, WA Comcast Arena / Everett Events Ctr.
