Paul & Heather granted a decree nisi

A London High Court judge granted Paul McCartney and Heather Mills a "decree nisi" Monday, bringing their marriage one step closer to a formal end, a court spokesman confirms to PEOPLE.

Under British divorce law, the decree nisi is essentially a preliminary divorce. The McCartneys now must wait six weeks and one day to receive a decree absolute, which ends the marriage completely.

Justice Hugh Bennett ended the couple's marriage on grounds that they have been separated for two years. Neither McCartney, 65, nor Mills, 40, appeared in court.

The decree paves the way for Mills to receive her $48.6 million divorce settlement, which was granted in March.

McCartney married Mills in 2002, four years after the death of his first wife, Linda. The pair separated in May 2006 and McCartney filed for divorce in July of that year. They have a four-year-old daughter Beatrice.

Channel 4s documentary tonight on Heather Hills is going to make people hate Heather even more. It proves that she didn't have an unhappy childhood and that she wasn't beaten when she was younger like she claimed and a friend of Pauls confirms that Heather used to be a hooker.

Pauls former friend Denise Hewitt also said the pair had lesbian romps together. Denise says: “We went into high-class prostitution behind closed doors.”

- Everyone knows that she's a lying cow. She made up that she was abused when she was a child and she said that her and a friend were held hostage for days. The girl who was alleged to have been kidnapped with Heather said it's all lies and sued her about the story. Just when you thought she'd gone away she's back again. Crazy Heather Mills did another wacky interview with GMTV this morning. Heather had a dig at Paul saying “I think he's got three different girlfriends so I wish all the girls the best of luck. Better them than me."

Heather then said she threw water over Pauls lawyer Fiona to "cleanse and baptise her. I thought she looked fantastic. I thougth it did her the world of good. People love me or hate me.And all I think about is the people that I know and suffer with different causes, and carry on with my charity work which keeps me alive, really.”

NOTW have got hold of a picture of Heather Mills naked without her artificial leg on. This photo was taken in 1999 which she was going to use to promote her anti landmine charity work.

Heathers lawyer said: "Heather is very frustrated. She feels that it's very unfair that the judgment should be printed in full when she cannot defend herself. She's planning to apply to lift the ban. It was damning enough that the judge made his judgment so clear and vividly – no one deserves that. It's like a prolonged hanging for her."

- This nasty divorce is bad enough when Beatrice is older she'll be able to read all about this. She should stop been so selfish for once in her life and think about her daughter and what she's going to be putting her through all over again. What has she got to gain by slagging Paul off she's still going to be the most hated woman in the UK

As for Heather not defending herself she's the one who came out of court and gave a 12 minute speech and released a statement to GMTV. She wants to write a tell all book and be on tv interviews sobbing trying to win people over.

"As the record shows, I had no wish for these proceedings to be made public, but releasing them in part is particularly unfair. It seems an overall tabloid-created perception of my personality is preferred to much detail that I prepared for my case. I would suggest in the interests of fairness, it is now in the public interest to reveal the transcripts of the FULL court proceedings. As this judgement is now being used to to further my vilification, details contained within the transcripts and evidence will paint a far fairer and truthful picture which is surely in the interests of justice. Publishing this judgement is against the principle of privacy expected within family courts. A person has a right to privacy when they enter a family court and this was taken away from me. This decision appears to have been taken with disregard for my human right to privacy and that of my daughter. It cannot be in her interests that one parent is condemned by the media while the other is 'protected' or even revered. With my head held high I am glad to be a strong woman and will use my wealth productively and continue my attempts to make a positive difference in this world. My strength and determination to move on and continue the work we started years ago is fortified by your support."

The Sun are reporting that Heather Mills (Gold digger) threw water over Paul Mc Cartneys lawyer. Heathers lawyer who represented her in court today for her appeal which was denied joked to press saying "Let's put it this way there aren't any showers in the court house"

After the hearing was over Heather threw a glass of water on Pauls lawyer Fiona Shackleton. A witness said "It was cool, calm and collected. It trickled down Fiona's neck.”

Fiona was seen arriving in court with her hair in place and dry and left court with wet hair. The BBC asked Heather about it and she said Fiona had been "baptized in court"

Heather slammed Fiona saying she “handled this case in the worst manner you could imagine." and called her “many, many names before even meeting me.”

Just when you think Heather can't make a bigger twat of herself she's manages to top herself every time. Bet Pauls glad to have this psycho out of his life.

Judge slams Heather

Now we know the real reason Heather Mills wanted the judgement kept private.

Thye judge said Paul was "consistent, accurate and honest" adding "I regret to have to say I cannot say the same about the wife's evidence. I am driven to the conclusion that much of her evidence, both written and oral, was not just inconsistent and inaccurate but also less than candid. Overall she was a less than impressive witness."

He added: "The wife, for her part, must have felt rather swept off her feet by a man as famous as the husband. I think this may well have warped her perception, leading her to indulge in make-believe. The objective facts do not support her case. I have to say that the wife's evidence that in some way she was the husband's 'psychologist', even allowing for hyperbole, is typical of her make-belief.

The judge didn't buy Heather lies about Paul been a horrible husband: "I reject her evidence that she, vis-à-vis the husband, was anything more than a kind and loving person who was deeply in love with him."

The judge was full of praise for Paul saying he's "extraordinarily talented" and an "icon to millions of people".

The documents state that Heather had asked for £125 Million and Paul had offered her £15.8 million. Remember Heather on GMTV "I haven't asked for any money" LIAR

Heathers appeal is denied

Gold Digger Heather Mills has lost her appeal in court to prevent the final judgement becoming public. She told the press yesterday that the judgement contained "private, secure matters" involving her daughter.

Gold Digger Gets £24.3 Million

Heather Mills got a £24.3 million divorce settlement today in court. Court documents reveal Heather had asked for £128 Million from Paul but he offered her £15.8 million.

Paul has agreed to pay Beatrices nanny and school fees and he is to pay Heather £35,000 a year towards looking after Beatrice. When Paul left court her told the press "Thank You"

Gold digger didn't do that of course she made this wacky statement:

"I'm so glad it's over, it was an incredible result in the end to secure mine and my daughter's future and that of all the charities that I obviously plan on helping and making a difference with - because you know it has been my life for 20 years. Obviously the court do not want a litigant in person to do well, it's against everything that they ever wish, so when they write the judgment up they're never going to make it look in favour. But all of you that have researched know that it was always going to be a figure between £20 and £30 million, Paul was offering a lot less than that, which you'll see in the judgment, and very much last minute to put me and Beatrice sadly through this ... incredibly sad. The only reason I'm appealing the judgment tomorrow morning - which because I've got my daughter I'm going to get somebody else to do because I'm exhausted because of all this - is because the judgment involves private secure matters of my daughter: where she goes to school, what she does, everything about her is in there. And they didn't even do a redacted version to keep Beatrice out of it."

She wasn't impressed with getting £35,000 to look after Beatrice each year "So, she's obviously meant to travel B class while her father travels A class - but obviously I will pay for that. He also said (the judge) that Paul is only worth £400 million. Everyone knows that he has been worth £800 million for the last 15 years. Paul has always wanted it public because he wants to look like generous Sir Paul. I was locked out of every home. I really hope now that me and my daughter can have a life and not be followed every day. Apart from one television thing I have stayed quiet for 21 months. If the judgment had been kept private I would not be out here speaking.”
