Jessica Alba gave birth to a baby girl over the weekend at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in LA. Jessicas rep had no comment.

Jessica Albs close friends shocked by Wedding

Jessica Alba's quickie courthouse wedding came out of the blue – even for her close pals.

The 27-year-old actress – who's expecting her first child – wed longtime boyfriend Cash Warren, 31, on Monday in Beverly Hills.
"Jessica and Cash's ceremony surprised even good friends," says a source close to Alba, noting that the actress tends to be "very responsible" and "strategic" when it comes to her personal life.
"She [used to feel] it would be okay to wait until after the baby was born to get married," the source continues. "But her traditional side must have really kicked in."

The low-key wedding may have been a shock – but the two had been talking marriage for more than a year, says the source.

"Cash is a wonderful guy," the insider adds. "And she really does love him."

The two will welcome their daughter this summer.

Jessica Alba & Cash Warren got married yesterday Jess' rep confirmed.

The pair got married in a Beverly Hills courthouse ceremony room. The pair were casually dressed Jessica had a long blue dress on with her hair tied back in a ponytail.

A witness said "She looked happy but nervous"

Cash & Jessica arrived at 11:30am applied for a marriage license waited for the paperwork work to be processed then they got hitched.

Nobody else attended the wedding. This sounds like an exciting all thrills wedding doesn't it.

I can understand people wanting to keep the details private but this is a bit too basic.

Jessica Alba is having a baby girl

Mom-to-be Jessica Alba celebrated the upcoming birth of her first child with an intimate baby shower in Los Angeles Sunday.

The 26-year-old welcomed about 40 guests – including fellow actresses Rashida Jones and Jaime King – to the lunchtime baby bash at the new Ever After Tea House in Studio City. Her big announcement: She's having a girl.

"She's been telling friends she's having a girl," says a source, who confirms Alba received a lot of pink gifts at her shower, including a onesie from L.A.'s Intuition.

Alba also registered at Bel Bambini (where Christina Aguilera shopped), and received the Bloom Fresco High Chair from a friend. She is decorating her nursery with organic products and got several items from Soleil Moon Frye's eco-friendly store The Little Seed.

As jazz played in the background, the crowd dined under white umbrellas on skewers of tiger shrimps, chocolate-covered strawberries and mini pastries and sipped on "Life's a Peach" Bellinis, E! online reports.

Alba's fiancé, Cash Warren, arrived after the luncheon to help tow away the gifts.
