Katie Price Olympic Hopes For 2012

Katie Price's bid to take part in the 2012 London Olympics has been given a boost - her husband has just bought her a showjumping horse.

The former topless beauty wants to be a part of the British equestrian team at the next Olympic Games - and her husband Peter Andre has put her firmly in the saddle.

Katie says, "He cost him a bloody fortune but he's a fantastic horse and is capable of competing at Olympic level. I'm calling him Andre after Pete, his competition name is The B**locks.

"I'm going to be training every day and I've already developed a six-pack from where I've stepped up my riding. I'm taking it really seriously, so don't write me off for 2012."

But Jordan's first hurdle is to get ready for the U.K.'s Horse Of The Year show in October (08) after undergoing breast augmentation in Beverly Hills.

The model, who checked into the S&B Surgery Center on Tuesday morning (05Aug08), adds, "I have been given a seven-minute slot (at the Horse of The Year Show) to do a routine to music."

Katie & Peters talk show gets axed

Katie & Peters dreadful talk show "Katie & Peter: Unleashed" has been axed. After just one series ITV2 have decided not to re-commission it for a second series.

Most of the guests that when on the show slated it including Nicole Schezinger who said it's the most ridiculous show she's ever been on.

Most celeb talk shows are awful. Just look at Charlotte Churchs and Lily Allen. I can't believe The Charlotte Church show got a second series the first was bad enough. Lily Allens show getting a second series as well.

Katie Price wants to adopt

Katie Price has said that she wants to adopt a disabled orphan after watching BBCs "Bulgaria's Abandoned Children".

Katie said: "We want to be able to help a child have a better life. The programme moved me to tears. So many babies who are born with disabilities find it hard to find adoptive parents – no one wants them. So Pete and I have been to see a lawyer about adopting a baby from abroad."

Katie & Peter win damages in court

Katie & Pete left court today accepting "substantial damages" from News Of The World over claims that they're bad parents. The newspaper has retracted all comments and paid out a huge amount to the couple.

Official court documents stated:

"It [the newspaper] accepts that Ms Price and Mr Andre are decent and responsible parents, who love and care deeply about their children. It is here to apologise for the hurt and damage which they have suffered as a result of the article's publication. It has also agreed to pay them a substantial sum by way of damages, half of which the Claimants are donating to the NSPCC and The Vision Charity, and the other half they are putting into a trust fund for their children."

Outside the court, after the verdict Katie told the press: "Pete and I love our kids and would do anything for them. We came here today to see that justice was done and that our names were cleared."

Princess taken to hospital

Katie & Peter have taken 10month old Princess Tiaamii who is ill with chickenpox to hospital in the US. Princess' condition got worse so Katie & Peter took her to the doctors to get her checked over. The local doctor was concerned and seeked further medical attention.

Peter said "We've got to take her to hospital. She's not good man. Once she's better I'll be all smiles"

Get better Princess. The Andre clan spend all there time in Hospital they don't have much luck.

Hello all!!

Where are the weeks going??? Mid April already!!

Over the past few weeks I have been really busy doing some TV appearances, Radio Interviews and a few magazine covers/interviews. At the same time I still have the TV camera crews following us around for the TV series.

The show has been running for a few weeks on ITV2 and I am getting lots of emails from people saying how much they love the show, and how much it makes them laugh! I’m getting so used to having them around now they are becoming a part of the family!

Talking of family, Pete is still on his fitness regime and I have to say he is looking really good for it. The kids had been unwell recently with a small bout of chicken pox, mainly Junior. Princess, is ....she is just gorgeous! Harvey was in hospital recently for his regular monthly check up and tests so that we can stay on top of his medical needs and requirements.

Last week was the Galaxy Book Awards. I’m so pleased I went along to the prestigous event meeting some really nice people. My attendance also put a few peoples noses out of joint as I don’t think I am really highly thought of in the literature world, but you know me, I try my hardest at everything I do and I think the books deserves the credit and thank you all for your support and votes!

The book launch for Mermaids and Pirates was great fun, it was great to see so many happy smiley faces!!

On Wednesday I got back from a 5-day trip to Cyprus to stay at the house. It was nice to get away after the snow we had, not long now till summer. I love the summer soo much, I hate being cold so I wont be needing my fleece blanket for much longer!

Well done to all those who did the London Marathon, and I cannot believe how the Shannon Matthews situation has developed, its like a film! and well done to the police for the ‘Rhys Jones’ case.

Tomorrow I am off to the US. The whole family is going. Whilst out there we will be going to Disney World, the kids are going to love it, especially Harvey and Junior, I doubt Princess will have much idea apart from pretty colours and funny faces! (and that’s not Pete and me!) We’ll also be doing some shopping and I’ll be getting my teeth re-done, they are just sooo super sensitive at the moment.

One thing made me laugh before I forget to write it down. On the plane to Cyprus, this made me laugh yet soo proud at same time. Harvey picked up the remote control for the TV set in the headrest and pretended it was phone as it had all the buttons on it. He had a whole conversation to himself: ‘hello.....how are you?....I’m fine thank you......I have to go now as plane is going uphill!! Brilliant!! he is coming along soo much!

In amongst all the work and family commitments I have been attending Dressage lessons. Pete bought me an early birthday present, a horse! I’ve never done dressage before but I am really enjoying being back in the saddle and riding again away from all the stresses.

After the US trip, I’ll be back for a few days and will then be jetting off again to Australia. Pete’s brother is getting married and so is his one of his old friends so we look forward to that, then it wont be long till my birthday and Harveys!

When I return from the US, I will get a live web chat scheduled for you all. Well done to the competition winner and shortly there will be some more pictures added to the gallery from behind the scenes and family stuff!

Wow you must all be bored now reading this! I need to start packing for the trip. I hope you all keep well, stay healthy and remain positive!

Nasty Pap
